In early May 2012, Avro Lancaster PA474 from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) flew to Denmark to perform flypasts at at a number of memorial events that were being held at various Lancaster crash sites.

The Lancaster made a refuelling stop at Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands en-route to Denmark, and it was here that we joined up with her for an air-to-air photoshoot as she continued her journey to Denmark.
